Water by the Bridge 2016

It’s March in Louisville, Kentucky. That means two things: college basketball on every TV in every bar and hundreds of the finest Volkswagens and other Euros in the Midwest converge on Waterfront Park. One unfortunate part of March in Kentucky is the unpredictable weather.

The days leading up to the event were 70 degrees and sunny, so of course on the day of the show it was in the 30’s and raining. But that didn’t stop anyone! Not even the classics!

No Euro centered show would be complete without at least one super car.

Or air ride.

And of course there are always insane wheels and incredible fitment.

This Rabbit Pickup just about stole the show.

There wasn’t a bolt untouched. Fully custom interior, hidden air management, shaved bay, it had it all.

Even a few oddballs you’d never expect at a show like this made it out.

(Still not totally sure how the GTO snuck in…)

And a couple oddballs you would expect!

Despite the rain and cold weather, we had another successful year of WBTB! If you ever find yourself needing a show to attend early in the season, make the trip out to Louisville and get yourself into Water by the Bridge!
