This year’s Southern Worthersee or SOWO was my first year at the event. I’ve only seen past coverage and videos and knew I had to go to experience the show in its entirety. SOWO takes place in a small town in Georgia called Helen with a population of about 530 people, the show on the other hand expected to draw in 23,000 attendees over the course of a few days. SOWO, being an Audi/VW/Porsche event brings in thousands of people from all over the country, case in point I saw plates from Ontario, Canada, Oregon, and Washington State. The show wasn’t just concentrated in one place, in fact the whole city was one giant show. There were 3 areas designated for VAG cars only and 1 giant field for show participants only. The whole weekend was absolutely fantastic!
